FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS
How much does a basic website cost?
This question doesn’t have a simple answer – a bit like “how much does a basic car cost?” doesn’t have a simple answer. Did you want a 2-door or 4-door car? Automatic or manual? 4WD or 2WD? Are you driving in the city, or taking it off road?
There are many variables involved in developing a website, depending on your needs, goals and wants. Our websites start at $4400. To find out what’s included as a bare minimum in our website projects, read our article “What’s involved in a ‘basic’ website”.
How long does it take to build a website?
Our development cycle is typically 6-8 weeks – longer for ecommerce and larger sites. This cycle can take much longer if we have to wait for content and sign-offs from the client.
On top of that, we are usually booked at least 3 months ahead. So the sooner you contact us, the better!
Can you help me with email?
Website and digital marketing are our focus, and we leave email hosting and issues to those who know it best. Please speak to your host about your email needs. If you’re a small organisation and looking for a good email solution, GSuite is a viable, affordable option. It allows you to use your own domain in the Gmail environment which is familiar to many. Google support will assist you with getting setup.
If Google doesn’t float your boat, I’d suggest you use Microsoft Outlook (we do!). Many web hosts offer this, or you can go to Microsoft direct.
